COP26 - Glasgow 2021

The 26th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 26) to the UNFCCC took place at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow from 31st October – 12th November 2021.

Glasgow was chosen by the UK to host COP26 due to its experience, commitment to sustainability and world-class facilities.

COP26 was a pivotal moment not only in the fight against climate change but for the UK and Glasgow who hosted this extremely important event.

"In November, the world will look to the UK to set the agenda on climate action and ambition when Glasgow hosts the United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP26. This will be the opportunity to agree a global response to what is a truly global challenge. Aviation is a force for good. It’s one of the most global industries, connecting people, cultures and businesses. With the support of government, it can also help address the most pressing global challenge of our time – climate change."

- Derek Provan, Chief Executive Officer, AGS Airports Ltd
