Your safety and security is of paramount importance to our teams
Project Servator
Keeping our passengers and staff safe is at the heart of everything we do at Glasgow Airport.
Some measures such as Project Servator are highly visible while there are others passengers won’t be able to see, but rest assured that we are always vigilant.

Body Scanners
When security scanners were originally introduced in 2010, the Department for Transport (DfT) decided no alternative screening method would be offered to passengers selected to be screened by a security scanner. However, operational experience of security scanners has shown low refusal rates from passengers. This means that offering an alternative screening method, previously considered too great a burden on airports, now appears viable.

The airport is where your travel experience begins and we want you to enjoy travelling through our terminal.
Millions of people pass through Glasgow Airport each year and do so without incident thanks to our industry-leading Campus Watch initiative, which has been in operation for several years to ensure disruptive behaviour of any kind continues to remain extremely rare.
We believe one incident is one too many, and that is why through Campus Watch the thousands of people employed across our airport are trained to ‘Spot It, Share It, Stop It’. Details of any potential disruptive behaviour are passed through a dedicated contact number and our duty teams promptly respond to offer support.
Campus Watch is a simple and effective way to maintain our zero-tolerance approach to disruptive behaviour and to ensure the continued safety and well-being of our passengers and staff.
Glasgow Airport is also a signatory of the wider industry’s One Too Many campaign and the UK Aviation Industry Code of Practice on Disruptive Passengers.
We want to make sure every passenger enjoys a safe and pleasant experience when travelling through Glasgow Airport, however, if you do encounter a situation like this please make a member of staff aware.
